3. Booking Process

3.1 You may request a booking by contacting us by telephone or other communication methods as made available by us from time to time. We may ask you to provide information about the type and approximate volume of waste to be collected, access conditions at the Premises, and your preferred date and time for the collection.

3.2 Based on the information you provide, we may give an estimate or an indication of pricing. Any estimate is provided in good faith but does not constitute a fixed quotation until we have assessed the waste and access on arrival at the Premises.

3.3 A booking is only confirmed when we have accepted your request and given a date and time window for the collection. We may issue a reference number or confirmation message. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our sole discretion.

3.4 You are responsible for ensuring that all details given to us at the time of booking are accurate and complete, including the address, contact details, type of waste, and any access restrictions. Any errors or omissions may result in additional charges, delays, or the inability to complete the job.

4. Quotations and Pricing

4.1 Our pricing is generally based on the volume, weight, and nature of the waste to be collected, together with access conditions and any additional labour or time required.

4.2 Any quotation or estimate provided before arrival is subject to on-site confirmation. Upon arrival at the Premises, our team will assess the waste and confirm the final price before commencing work. If you do not agree to the confirmed price, you may decline the Service, in which case no work will be carried out and no charge will be made other than any agreed call-out or attendance fee.

4.3 Where additional waste is presented for collection that was not disclosed during the booking process, we may revise the price accordingly. You will be informed of any price changes before the additional work is carried out.

4.4 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be subject to applicable taxes or charges as required by law.

5. Payments

5.1 Payment is due in full upon completion of the Service unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance. We may, at our discretion, require part or full payment in advance for certain bookings.

5.2 We accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, or other methods as we may make available from time to time. You must ensure that you have the means to pay for the Services at the time they are performed.

5.3 For business or account customers, payment terms may be agreed separately. Where such terms are agreed, invoices must be paid in accordance with the stated due date. We reserve the right to charge interest and late payment fees in line with applicable legislation for overdue amounts.

5.4 We reserve the right to withhold or suspend Services in the event of non-payment, late payment, or where we reasonably believe that payment will not be made.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

6.1 You may cancel or reschedule your booking by contacting us with reasonable notice before the agreed arrival time.

6.2 Where you cancel more than 24 hours before the agreed arrival time, no cancellation fee will normally be charged. Where you cancel within 24 hours of the agreed arrival time, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover our administrative and scheduling costs.

6.3 If our team attends the Premises at the agreed time and is unable to gain access, or if the job cannot be completed due to circumstances within your control, we may charge a call-out fee or a reasonable proportion of the agreed price.

6.4 We may cancel or reschedule the Services at any time due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, traffic disruption, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will attempt to notify you as soon as practicable and will offer an alternative date or a refund of any amounts paid in advance for the affected booking.

7. Customer Obligations

7.1 You must ensure that we have safe, reasonable, and unobstructed access to the Premises and to the waste that is to be collected. This includes arranging any necessary parking or entry permissions and informing us of any access restrictions such as height limits, security gates, or time restrictions.

7.2 You must ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, that the waste to be removed is clearly separated and accessible. If our team is required to carry out additional sorting or move items not designated as waste, this may result in additional charges.

7.3 You agree not to present for collection any hazardous, toxic, explosive, or otherwise dangerous materials unless we have explicitly agreed in advance to handle such items and any additional fees have been agreed.

7.4 You must not conceal sharp, dangerous, or prohibited items within general waste. You are responsible for informing us of any items that may pose a particular risk during handling.

8. Waste Regulations and Compliance

8.1 We operate in accordance with applicable UK waste management legislation and regulations. We will transport and dispose of waste only at authorised facilities and in a lawful manner.

8.2 We reserve the right to refuse to collect any waste that we reasonably believe would cause us to be in breach of applicable environmental, waste, or transport regulations.

8.3 Title and responsibility for the waste transfer to us once it is loaded onto our vehicle. Upon transfer, we will handle the waste in compliance with legal requirements. However, you remain responsible for ensuring that items presented for collection are lawfully yours to dispose of and do not infringe the rights of any third party.

8.4 Where required, we may complete a waste transfer note or other documentation in connection with the collection and disposal of waste. You agree to provide any information reasonably requested by us to enable accurate and lawful documentation.

9. Liability and Limitations

9.1 We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Services. However, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, or from your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

9.2 While we take reasonable care when working on or near your property, minor scuffs, marks, or wear that may occur during the normal course of moving waste and bulky items are at your risk, provided we have acted with reasonable care and skill.

9.3 You must notify us of any visible damage allegedly caused by our team before they leave the Premises, or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter. We may require evidence such as photographs and access to the Premises to investigate any claim.

9.4 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with the Services.

9.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

9.6 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the total price paid or payable for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

10. Insurance

10.1 We maintain insurance cover appropriate for the nature of our Services, including public liability insurance, in line with industry practice.

10.2 The existence of insurance does not extend or increase our liability beyond the limits set out in these Terms and Conditions.

11. Delays and Events Beyond Our Control

11.1 We will make reasonable efforts to attend the Premises within the agreed time window, but arrival times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

11.2 If an event beyond our control makes it impossible or unsafe to deliver the Services at the agreed time, we may suspend or reschedule the Services. We will contact you to arrange a new time or, if appropriate, offer a refund of any amounts paid in advance for the affected booking.

12. Complaints and Disputes

12.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our Services, you should notify us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to address your concerns.

12.2 We will investigate complaints in a fair and timely manner and may request further information from you to assist our investigation.

12.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved directly between us, either party may consider seeking independent advice or taking further action through the appropriate legal channels.

15.2 You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the Services.

16. General Provisions

16.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
